The Australian & New Zealand Biosolids Partnership

The Australian & New Zealand Biosolids Partnership, or ANZBP has been created to promote and support the sustainable management of biosolids in Australia and New Zealand.

The Australian Water Association (AWA) is facilitator and administrator for the ANZBP, using a subscription model to raise the necessary funds. The key stakeholders are the water utilities in Australia and New Zealand which produce and have to manage biosolids, practitioners (consultants and contractors), the agencies responsible for regulating the management and use of biosolids and research houses.

ANZBP subscribers are from organisations around Australia and New Zealand.

The ANZBP is guided by an Advisory Board comprising of a cross-section of stakeholders, which reports to the AWA Board. Members of the Advisory Board are:

Ms Nancy Penney - Water Corporation WA (Chair)
Mr Kevin Conna - Sydney Water
Mr Brendan Hannigan - Southern Water
Mr Michael Naughton - Barwon Water
Mr Paul Darvodelsky - PSD Ltd
Ms Karen Campisano - Melbourne Water
